The Future is Now: Bitcoin & Blockchain ETFs
2021 has so far witnessed a dramatic shift in the convergence of traditional and cryptocurrency markets, thanks to the first-ever exchange-traded funds (ETF).
Canada had set the scene and reinforced its crypto-pioneer role by approving the world’s first Bitcoin ETF early 2021.
Europe’s first thematic ETF, tracking blockchain companies and listed in LSE and Deutsche Börse, followed its lead.
Only one month after, Brazil announced the first Bitcoin ETF in Latin America.
Last (in 2021) but not least, the crypto-hesitant SEC, still having pending Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF applications in the pipeline, took a big leap forward and approved the first crypto stock ETF in the U.S.
